These developments are intended to give business users quick access to their data and unite behind a single source of truth for metrics. Duet AI in Looker will assist us in realizing our objective of providing our users with the most comprehensive BI product in the market.

Building on these developments, Duet AI in Looker offers direct connectors to conversational AI nd substantial foundation models that will revolutionize the way you work with data, starting with a variety of features shown off in our session at Next ’23, What’s New In BI for Today’s GenAI World.

We want for Duet AI in Looker to enable you to:

• Talk to your data quickly and simply, moving beyond inquiries and replies to inspire activities based on your particular business.
• With just a few phrases of instruction, you can easily create whole reports or sophisticated visualizations, saving a ton of time and lowering the requirement for technical knowledge.
• Automatically build fresh Google Slides presentations from your reports using the summaries you’ve already generated.
• Create calculated field formulas using natural language to alter the data coming from your data sources, then apply those formulas in your visualizations.
• LookML code may be produced with ease using normal language

We are also keeping our promise today to make Tableau’s preview version and Microsoft Power BI’s general availability version of our semantic layer, the core of Looker’s modeling capabilities, available. While Power BI users can access those centralized established metrics and data linkages from Looker’s semantic layer through Power BI desktop, Tableau users can explore their data with a familiar drag-and-drop interface while tapping into Looker’s modeling layer for standard metrics. Our current front-end alternatives, such as Looker, Looker Studio, and Connected Sheets for Looker, are now enhanced by these new data interfaces.

We are collaborating with Alteryx to offer native access to the Alteryx Designer Cloud for Looker Studio customers, as well as improved cloud connectivity, starting with Microsoft Excel and CSV files from storage services like Sharepoint and OneDrive.

We are also happy to announce that, later this quarter, our partner integration with Sisu Data will be available to the public. Customers can pinpoint the main reason for changes, discover data outliers, and decide what analysis steps to do by combining Looker with Sisu. Customers can quickly gain important insights on cloud-scale data by integrating AI-powered analytics into analytical workflows.
