Next-Generation PowerEdge Processor Telephone Self-Certification

Transform yourself become Dell Technologies Telecom Certified using our brand-new self-certification test lines for the next-generation PowerEdge servers.

We are thrilled to let you know that our new Dell Technologies PowerEdge R760 Intel-based server test lines are now available for use with our Telecom Partner Self-Certification programme.

Independent software vendors (ISVs) and network equipment providers (NEPs) are able to expedite the adoption of open, cloud-native technologies for 5G and edge computing with the help of these servers, which are the most recent addition to our portfolio of cloud-native solutions.

A low-touch, automated programme that allows independent software vendors and network equipment suppliers to certify their applications on our hardware platforms with top cloud platform providers is provided by the Dell Technologies Telecom Partner Self-Certification programme. This programme is part of our commitment to foster an open and contemporary telecom ecosystem.

Through participation in the programme, you will have access to our Open Telecom Ecosystem Lab (OTEL). In this lab, you will be able to test your software on the most recent telecom equipment by making use of specified test cases and scenarios.

You will receive the official “Dell Technologies Telecom Certified” badge as soon as you have successfully completed the self-certification process. This badge represents the validation of key test capabilities that CSPs require, providing them with the assurance that the software is compatible with and ready for stable deployment on Dell Technologies telecom platforms.

At the Mobile World Congress 2023 in Barcelona, which took place in February, we made our first public presentation of the Dell PowerEdge R760 servers. There, we demonstrated their capacity to meet the problems that are present in today’s IT systems, particularly in the areas of 5G, edge computing, and cloud-native apps. Performance and adaptability are provided by the newest 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable CPU, which is used in the Dell PowerEdge R760 servers.

These servers are designed to handle demanding applications and workloads, and they are based on this processor. In addition, these servers are equipped with cutting-edge cooling and power efficiency technology, which enables them to function in challenging settings and reduces the expenses of running such environments.

The server portfolio offered by Dell PowerEdge may be purchased in a wide variety of form factors and configurations, including rack, tower, and multi-node systems, in order to accommodate a wide variety of use cases and workloads. You may select a Dell PowerEdge server that satisfies your needs for high-performance computing, large data storage, or flexible scalability.

This is possible since Dell makes a wide variety of servers. You also have the ability to personalise your server with a wide variety of choices, including graphics processing units (GPUs), data processing units (DPUs), network interface controllers (NICs), and storage options.

ISVs and NEPs now have the potential to expand their laboratories into ours so that their software may be validated on our most recent hardware platforms thanks to the availability of the most recent PowerEdge servers in our Self-Certification test lines. This opportunity is made possible by the Telecom Partner Self-Certification programme.

To get started with the registration process for this programme, please fill out this form if you are interested in taking part in it. In addition to having you sign a lab access agreement and a non-disclosure agreement, we will need that you furnish us with some fundamental information on your business and the software that you sell. Following that, you will have access to our protected site and will be able to begin the self-certification process.

We are happy to be able to provide you with the option to become a member of our telecom partner community and to make use of our brand-new Dell PowerEdge R760 servers for the creation and distribution of your applications.

By cooperating with one another, we will be able to develop cloud-native, standards-based, open ecosystem solutions for the telecom industry. These solutions will enable the full potential of 5G and beyond.  Get started on your path to becoming a Dell Technologies Telecom employee now.
