ASUS Presents TUF Gaming Z790-BTF WiFi with Hidden Ports!

Today, ASUS unveiled the TUF Gaming Z790-BTF WiFi White and ROG BTF ecosystems, both of which are designed to conceal cables so that builders can create a neat and tidy look with PCs made for a range of uses. A PCIe high power connection on graphics cards that are compatible with the graphics card high-power slot on BTF motherboards allows for the realization of this innovation.

Advanced BTF against BTF

When designing a hidden-connector construction, customers have a plethora of alternatives thanks to the ASUS ecosystem of BTF components. All of the cables that connect directly to the motherboard, such as those for power, 2.5-inch SATA drives, case fans, front-panel buttons, and I/O ports, can be hidden when a BTF chassis and BTF motherboard, such as the TUF Gaming B760M-BTF WiFi D4, are used together.

But a contemporary PC setup with a powerful graphics card has more wires than that. Users must attach a PCIe power connection to GPUs since they often need more power than the PCIe x16 slot can provide. ASUS provides the Advanced BTF method for those who would also want to conceal that wire. Modern BTF motherboards are equipped with a high-power graphics card slot that can handle all the power required by a BTF graphics card. To assemble an Advanced BTF PC, users will need a graphics card with a PCIe high-power connection.

A BTF motherboard, the TUF Gaming Z790-BTF WiFi has striking white accents

A white-themed PC design has a sophisticated, uncluttered appearance that is popular among PC builders these days. In addition to the array of white peripherals, cases, graphics cards, AIO coolers, and monitors that ASUS currently sells, the company is now prepared to expand its product range with a BTF motherboard. Presenting the motherboard TUF Gaming Z790-BTF WiFi.

This board stands out from the others because to the dramatic contrast between its high-quality black PCB and its white heatsinks and shrouds. Great cooling for SSDs and a striking construction appearance are ensured by the redesigned and extended M.2 heatsink made possible by the hidden-connector architecture. To ensure a project has a unified appearance, even the ASUS WiFi Q-Antenna has a white finish.

PC manufacturers rely on TUF Gaming motherboards to provide robust performance, amazing gaming capabilities, and a ruggedized look. With an improved power solution that includes 16+1+1 power stages, a six-layer PCB, ProCool sockets, alloy chokes, and robust capacitors for steady power supply, the TUF Gaming Z790-BTF WiFi charges into the battle. A 14th generation Intel Core CPU would be more than welcome. Similar to the ROG Maximus Z790 Hero BTF, the TUF Gaming Z790-BTF WiFi has a graphics card high-power slot that can power a BTF graphics card, making it suitable for an Advanced BTF setup.

With a suitable router, WiFi 7 compatibility prepares customers to benefit from the next generation of wireless networking, and an Intel 2.5 Gb Ethernet connector offers a fast cable connection. On the back I/O panel, users will discover four PCIe 4.0 M slots in addition to an onboard USB 20Gbps Type-C connector that is prepared to provide lightning-fast file transfer rates to external storage. Users may add a large and quick storage array for their game library using two slots.

The updated showcase build standard

It’s time for a change from ASUS motherboards‘ well-known everything-faces-one-way architecture, which has served consumers well for decades. PC builders have been using all kinds of tricks to keep their cords nice and organized for far too long. It’s time to completely conceal those cords.

Users have two high-performance hidden-connector alternatives available to streamline their assembly process and leave them with a tidy, professional-looking PC: the ROG Maximus Z790 Hero BTF and TUF Gaming Z790-BTF WiFi motherboards. While the ROG Hyperion GR701 BTF Edition and TUF Gaming GT302 ARGB provide consumers the compatibility they want in two different hues, the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 BTF Edition and TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER deliver great gaming performance and complimentary design.

Many more BTF Alliance BTF chassis choices

Even while ASUS is pleased with how the ROG Hyperion GR701 BTF Edition and TUF Gaming GT302 ARGB feel and look, they understand that builders want to have a wide range of alternatives when selecting a chassis for their next PC. For this reason, they have formed the BTF Alliance in collaboration with several of the most well-known brands in the PC case sector. Users will be able to choose from a large selection of PC cases that are completely compatible with ASUS BTF motherboards thanks to this agreement.

The first quarter of 2024 will witness the availability of various chassis alternatives for users. The celebration will begin in January when Thermaltake, Inwin, and Phanteks release the Thermaltake Ceres 330 TG ARGB, the Inwin F5, and the Inwin D5. Corsair’s 6500 series and Cooler Master’s MasterBox 600 will both make their debuts in February. In the first quarter of 2024, Silverstone intends to introduce a SETA A2 line of BTF-ready PC cases. Be quiet!, Lian Li, and Aerocool fans will be happy to hear that these manufacturers are also working on BTF chassis designs. In the coming weeks, keep an eye out for their announcements.
