With the addition of two new models and two updated Dell PowerEdge servers to Dell’s portfolio, Dell is happy to announce an exciting extension of the PowerEdge server selection. Dell’s commitment to innovation and customer-centric design is demonstrated by these most recent products.

The R670 and R770 CSP Edition cloud scale servers are specifically made for cloud service providers (CSPs) and are intended for scale-out applications. CSPs will be the first to get access to these new CSP Edition servers, with broader availability to follow. Adapted to Dell customers’ needs, the redesigned T160 and R260 entry platforms offer a compelling combination of state-of-the-art technology in a reduced footprint.

R770

The cloud-scale servers R670 and R770 CSP Edition are made to be as cost-effective and power-efficient as possible in a variety of big and varied situations. Price is given priority over performance and compact design in the T160 and R260. In order to satisfy the needs of contemporary data centres and near-edge computing environments, both product categories provide distinctive features.

An important step forward in Dell’s design and production process is represented by the 1U and 2U PowerEdge R670 and R770 CSP Edition servers. The DC-MHS, or Data Centre Modular Hardware System, architecture is used in the construction of these new systems.

The hardware design of data centres must be adaptable and scalable in order to facilitate the simple integration, swapping, upgrading, or scaling of hardware elements such servers, storage, and networking devices. Additionally, it makes it possible to quickly modify hardware parts in order to accommodate evolving data processing needs.

Dell R770

The R670 and R770 CSP Editions were designed with this new architecture in mind, which will enable high-density and scale-out workloads more effectively while lowering power consumption without sacrificing performance.

  • With up to 2.3 times greater performance per rack than the previous generation, Dell’s R670 and R770 CSP Edition servers are powered by Intel Xeon 6 Processors with E-Cores.
  • These servers are perfect for large, multi-vendor data centres that need to balance performance and power efficiency since they have Dell Smart Cooling technology.
  • Additionally, they provide a variety of configurations, such as front I/O configurations that enable cold aisle access for quicker deployment and simpler maintenance.
  • Furthermore, Open Server Manager, which is based on OpenBMC, is available for Dell PowerEdge Cloud Scale Servers, making the switch to an open environment easier.
  • Through the unique Hyperscale Next programme designed for cloud service providers, including hosters and B2B/B2C services, the exclusive CSP series is made available.
  • Early access to new technologies and pre-configured systems with performance tweaking for scalability and quick deployment are among the benefits.
  • Furthermore, by pre-configuring servers to your specifications, the ProDeploy Factory Configuration solution simplifies large-scale deployments and saves 115 administrative hours every 100 servers.
  • Act now as a cloud service provider (CSP) to acquire these machines, which are only accessible through Dell’s Hyperscale Next programme. Get in touch with your Dell account executive if you believe you qualify.

T160

Dell PowerEdge T160 Server

PowerEdge T160 and R260 servers usher in a new age of small-footprint, high-performance computing. The T160 and R260, which provide you twice the performance with Intel E-processors, are compact, environmentally friendly devices with potent computing. The stackable T160 uses sustainable components including recycled steel and an unpainted chassis and has an almost half (42%) footprint compared to its predecessor. Additionally, it has a 23% higher power efficiency.

Additionally, the R260’s footprint is much lower (24%), adding to its adaptability. The newest generation of Dell PowerEdge servers are made entirely of recycled and reusable materials, and also include recycled steel in its packaging.

Dell R260

The T160 and R260 feature reduced chassis sizes together with bezels that filter out extraneous objects like grease and dirt for more deployment flexibility. They are skilled in handling the demands of small and medium-sized enterprises and processing data in real time at installations close to the edge.

R260

The T160 is designed with recycled materials specifically in mind, and it serves companies who want to meet environmental targets without sacrificing enterprise-level performance. For web hosting and virtualization, the R260 offers a lot of energy economy and performance at a reasonable price in a small package.

These innovative servers offer flexibility, durability, and scalability for a range of operational situations and workloads by combining eco-friendly, compact designs with energy-efficient, high-density computing. They enable simple setup, reliable protection, and easy maintenance with their open systems administration, strong deployment services, and enhanced security solutions.

Dell PowerEdge offers a great blend of performance, sustainability, and security, making it a perfect choice for modern data centres and edge computing. Its cutting-edge cooling technologies, support for Intel Xeon processors, and environmentally friendly designs complete the picture. Dell pay attention to their clients’ needs and provide server designs that help them win and future-proof their IT infrastructure in the face of a quickly changing technology environment.
