Xiaomi Redmi K70 and K70 Pro specs
The Redmi K70 and K70 Pro debuted in China months before their expected global sales under other names. Both have 160.9 x 75 x 8.2 mm housings and 6.6-inch AMOLED displays. Both weigh 209 g due to their 5,000 mAh batteries. For comparison, the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro have 10% lesser battery capacity than the K70E but allow 33% more powerful 120 W charging.
Xiaomi includes the same 1440p display (3,200 x 1,440 pixels) with Dolby Vision, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 4,000 nits peak brightness. The Light Hunter 800, with a 50 MP sensor, 1/1.55-inch optical format, 1.0 µm wide pixels, and OIS, is the primary camera for both devices. Both the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro have 16 MP front-facing cameras, but different secondary and tertiary rear cameras.
Redmi K70 retains its predecessor’s 8 MP ultra-wide-angle and 2 MP macro cameras. In contrast, the Redmi K70 Pro has a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 50 MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. Both devices can capture 8K/24 FPS videos, however their front cameras can only shoot 1080p/60 FPS.
Most noticeable is the chipset difference between the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro. As pre-release information indicates, Xiaomi based the Redmi K70 on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, while the K70 Pro uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The Redmi K70 Pro has a Lamborghini variant and costs as follows:
