With the launching of the Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro, Samsung Electronics pays tribute to the forward-thinking design and functionality of the SGH-E700, symbolizing 20 years of technological innovation.

Samsung Electronics made the announcement today that it would be releasing the Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro, a limited edition phone that reflects Samsung’s tradition of innovation, on November 1 in Korea, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, and Australia, and on November 2 in France. This phone will be available for purchase.

The SGH-E700, a device that was released in 2003 and captivated the market’s mind with its remarkable appearance and performance, serves as the inspiration for the Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro, which was released in 2018.

The SGH-E700 was a revolutionary mobile phone for Samsung at the time it was released since it was the company’s first model to have an internal antenna. Because of this invention and the phone’s broad appeal, Samsung was able to significantly advance its position in the mobile phone business.

Now, Samsung intends to connect its consumers by presenting its history of invention, which spans from the company’s creation to the current day, with the old SGH-E700 and the modern Galaxy Z Flip5 acting as examples of representative products to showcase this history.
