Xiaomi launches stable Android 14 globally with Xiaomi 12T, 13 and 13 Pro.
Android 14 is now available on the Xiaomi 12T, the Xiaomi 13, and the Xiaomi 13 Pro, marking the beginning of Xiaomi’s continuous deployment of the operating system around the globe.
Xiaomi has given confirmation that it has started upgrading elements of its product stack to Android 14 and has declared that it has begun upgrading portions of its product stack to Android 14. The Xiaomi 12T, the Xiaomi 13, and the Xiaomi 13 Pro are the first handsets to get the Android 14 upgrade from the company. All three of these smartphones had previously taken part in the MIUI beta programme.
Since Xiaomi made the news that it will be delivering stable versions of Android 14 to three of its most recent devices, it has been over three months since the company released its MIUI beta programme, which was based on the new operating system update. This announcement came at the same time that Xiaomi announced its MIUI beta programme.
To provide a point of reference, Xiaomi is one of the first original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for Android to offer stable versions of Android 14, and Google has announced that it would be releasing equivalent updates for its Pixel devices beginning with the Pixel 4a 5G and continuing with following models. It would seem to speak to the fact that Xiaomi’s rollout may not necessarily be a straightforward one, which is a regrettable turn of events.
According to announcements made by the company on its official website, the Xiaomi 13, the Xiaomi 13 Pro, and the Xiaomi 12T are the only devices that are now compatible with Android 14. For whatever reason, it has not commented on the availability of Android 14 for more models such as the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the Xiaomi 12T Pro, or the new Xiaomi 13T series as of yet.
These devices include the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Among these electronic gadgets is the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. In addition, Xiaomi’s Community website denies the veracity of this information, despite the fact that all Android 14 builds support MIUI 14, not MIUI 15, and despite the fact that Xiaomi has not validated this information.
In addition, participants in the beta test will be given access to the newest versions of Android 14 as soon as they are made available. If you have a Xiaomi 12T, Xiaomi 13, or Xiaomi 13 Pro and you want to attempt to acquire Android 14 a little bit early, it seems that you may still be able to register your smartphone in Xiaomi’s beta programme. If you do this, you will have the opportunity to test out the newest version of Android.
The information shown here is the most accurate one we can provide at this time. Changes have not been documented for any of these most recent Xiaomi versions, and the company has not provided a changelog. Instead, the company has posted a post on its Community that is accessible to users that provides further details on its first stable Android 14 update.
