Intel Granite Rapids Xeon LGA 7529 CPU Cooler
In the year 2024, Intel plans to release its next-generation Granite Rapids Xeon central processing units (CPUs) for use in servers. These CPUs will require some robust cooling systems that are capable of producing up to 700 watts of electricity.
Intel Granite Rapids Xeon “LGA 7529” CPU Coolers Have Arrived, and They Have the Capability to Cool Chips with up to 700W.
After the debut of the E-Core-only Sierra Forest, the Intel Granite Rapids Xeon LGA 7529 central processing units will take the place of the 5th Generation Emerald Rapids processors. Granite Rapids central processing units (CPUs) will be compatible with the Birch Stream platform in the LGA 4710 and LGA 7529 socket variants. These LGA 7529 CPUs are based on the Redwood Cove P-Core architecture.
Best CPU cooler for LGA 7529
Now, server cooling equipment manufacturer Dynatron has announced the availability of one of the first CPU coolers compatible with Intel’s Granite Rapids Xeon CPUs. “L38” is the name of the product, and it has a cooling capacity of 700W.
It has double the cooling capacity of Intel’s current top processor, the Xeon Platinum 8490H, which has a total of 60 cores and 120 threads. This new chip is expected to be released later this year. It is reasonable to anticipate that both the TDPs and the actual power consumption of Granite Rapids-SP chips will grow, given that these chips will offer a greater number of cores than their predecessors. Additionally, the PL2 ratings of Intel’s Sapphire Rapids Xeon CPUs may go as high as 700W.
Following are some of the features of the Dynatron L38 CPU cooler:
- Intel Granite Rapid SP Processors, Socket LGA7529
- Liquid Cooler for 2U Server and Up
- Cold-plate Module with Copper Base
- Space saver lightweight radiator
- 8cm Cooling Fans with 4-pin PWM Connector
- Stand-alone Water Pump with a Powerful Flow Rate of 2.9 Liter Per Minute
- 30cm Black Pair EPDM Tube Assembled
- Mounting Accessories are included
- Shin-Etsu Series Thermal Compound Pre-Printed on Base
- Support CPU power up to 700W
- Each fan should have its own fan header due to high current consumption at full speed
Quiet CPU Cooler for LGA 7529
The radiator utilizes three fans of the 80mm design with a huge duct-based construction. These fans are capable of operating at up to 8000 RPM, delivering up to 115.61 CFM of airflow, and producing 57.00 dBA of noise while operating at their full capacity. When fully loaded, the fans have a power rating of 24.72 watts each. The amount of noise that these fans make will be significant; however, given that they were developed for use in server settings, this level of noise should be anticipated.
