Microsoft is expanding its Azure(Open AI Course) Connected Learning Experience (CLX) program with three new tracks tailored for Azure professionals. These tracks aim to enhance skills in Azure networking, Microsoft Sentinel in Azure, and Windows Server migration. The program offers personalized and self-paced courses that allow learners to efficiently and effectively boost their cloud computing careers.
Let’s explore the details of each new track:
Azure Networking: Designing and Implementing Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions (AZ-700)
This course is specifically designed for Azure network engineers. It focuses on designing and implementing a secure network infrastructure within Azure. Participants will learn about establishing hybrid connectivity, routing, private access to Azure services, and monitoring. The course covers various aspects of Azure networking, including core infrastructure, application delivery services, private access to Azure services, and connectivity services management. It equips learners with the skills to secure network connectivity to Azure resources.
Microsoft Sentinel in Azure: Mitigate Threats using Microsoft Sentinel (Part of SC-200)
This course targets security analysts, intelligence analysts, incident responders, security engineers, and security operations center (SOC) managers. Participants will learn how to protect their organizations from threats using Microsoft Sentinel, a cloud-native Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) solution. The course covers topics such as designing and configuring a Sentinel workspace, managing Sentinel analytics rules and incidents, and leveraging Sentinel’s capabilities to identify and respond to threats in real-time.
Windows Server Migration and Management on Azure
This course is ideal for system administrators, Azure cloud administrators, and Azure cloud consultants. It focuses on migrating and managing Windows Server workloads on the Azure cloud platform. Participants will learn how to transfer existing applications and infrastructure from on-premises to Azure using tools and services such as Azure Site Recovery, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Backup, and Azure Monitor. The course enables organizations to leverage the benefits of cloud computing while still utilizing their familiar Windows Server workloads.
About the Azure CLX Program
The CLX program is a comprehensive learning program designed for IT professionals and other learners seeking to master core concepts in cloud services. It combines self-paced interactive labs, skilling content, and virtual sessions led by Microsoft tech experts. The program follows four steps:
- Knowledge Assessment: A 20-question assessment to identify learners’ skills and knowledge gaps, providing personalized course content.
- Interactive Labs: Hands-on modules and interactive labs mirroring real-world scenarios, allowing learners to gain practical experience at their own pace.
- Virtual Sessions: Led by Microsoft-certified trainers (MCTs), these group sessions provide deep dives into course content, fostering live discussions, insights, and practical guidance. Learners can ask questions and receive real-time help.
- Practice Test: An 80-question practice test to assess learning progress and readiness for the final Microsoft certification exam. It helps learners identify areas for improvement and solidify their understanding.
Upon completing the CLX program, participants will have acquired valuable knowledge and skills to excel in the world of Azure. They will also receive a 50% discount voucher for the Microsoft Azure Certification exam, enabling them to validate their skills and advance their cloud computing careers.
The expansion of the CLX program underscores Microsoft’s commitment to empowering professionals with the latest cloud skills and ensuring they can secure and connect mission-critical systems in an increasingly data-driven world.
