ASUS ROG Zephyrus Laptop
ASUS is getting ready for its high-end ROG laptops, such the ROG Zephyrus M16, which will have excellent hardware specifications, in addition to its standard Zenbook lineup, which will be equipped with Core Ultra 7 and Core Ultra 5 CPUs. Hardware merchants have now placed these laptops online, as seen by Momomo_US.
To begin with, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 “GU605MY” laptop’s characteristics include the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 185H CPU, which has 16 cores in a 6+8+2 arrangement and 22 threads. It operates at 3.8 GHz for its base frequency and 5.1 GHz for its boost clock. The CPU has a 45W TDP rating and 24 MB of cache (PL1). The CPU is equipped with an integrated Arc Xe-LPG GPU, which is based on the Alchemist architecture and has eight Xe-cores. However, this laptop can support up to NVIDIA’s RTX 4090, the best gaming processor available for laptops.
Notably, the listing indicates LPDDR5X memory, indicating that a soldered architecture is what we are dealing with. This implies that owners of ASUS’s ROG Zephyrus notebooks with Meteor Lake will not be able to update the RAM unless, inexplicably, a CAMM solution is employed. To be sure of this, we may need to wait for the formal unveiling. Given that it’s a high-end laptop, the price should be more than $2000 USD. The laptop should formally debut at CES 2024 since the Intel Meteor Lake Core Ultra 9 CPUs are anticipated to arrive a little later in January.
The French store pc21.fr has featured a number of ASUS Zenbook notebooks in addition to the high-end ASUS ROG Zephyrus. The Core Ultra 7 155U and the Core Ultra 5 125U are two models in the Meteor Lake-U series, upon which all other versions are built. The 125U and 155U variants cost 1112.30 and 1209 euros, respectively. These prices appear to be preliminary listings and do not include VAT. As the launch date of December 14th draws nearer, expect prices to drop.
