Want to improve your generative AI skills? The Arcade, a free, gamified learning experience that introduces new games each month, now allows you to develop your technical general AI skills for the Google Cloud environment. You will engage in games based on Google Cloud Skills Boost labs each month to practise using the company’s robust AI tools, Vertex AI and Generative AI Studio.

In addition to The Arcade, we also offer various free tools to support your understanding about AI. You can prepare for the technical upskilling featured in The Arcade by reviewing this foundational-level training material. Gen AI this month in The Arcade: prompt engineering

The Arcade’s gen AI game for October is centred on prompt engineering and will show you how to optimise your text prompts to make the most of Google Cloud’s gen AI capabilities.

The goal of these games is to teach developers, cloud aficionados, and AI/ML engineers how to make relevant prompts. To do this, you must complete a series of labs.

Go to The Arcade to start the gen AI game, and keep playing other games and finishing trivia to improve your cloud knowledge over the following months. No matter how many games you play, there is no fee for finishing them.

Freely acquire further fundamental cloud skills

The Arcade provides beginner and more difficult games based on labs in addition to the monthly gen AI games to help you hone your cloud abilities. These are free, and every month a different topic is covered.
