Honor Magic6 Pro Series Unveils Thrilling Camera Specs!

Specs of Honor Magic6 Pro Series

Ten days prior to the Honor Magic6 Pro generation’s official release in China on January 10 and 11, X-user and leaker rodent950 who some may still recognize from his Huawei days provided a list of specifications for the three Honor Magic 5 successor models, out of a possible four models in 2023. There was the Honor5 Ultimate model, which sadly did not make it outside of China, in addition to the Honor Magic5 Lite, Honor Magic5, and Honor Magic5 Pro.

It is unclear if consumers will be able to purchase items from the Honor Magic collection in 2024 or if the actual high-end model will be offered everywhere. The leaker claims that at least three models are now in the works for China. Apart from the Honor Magic 6 and Honor Magic 6 Pro, there will also be a Porsche Edition, which bears a resemblance to Huawei’s previous flagship Mate series devices due to its Porsche design. Of course, the most exciting camera this ‘Honor Magic6 Pro Ultimate’ has to offer is this one; more on that later.

Honor Magic6 and its Honor Magic6 Pro version

According to the leaker, the standard Honor Magic 6 Pro model will come with a 1/1.28-inch 50 MP Omnivision OV50H sensor located beneath the primary camera, and a 1/1.88-inch 50 MP OV50M sensor for the ultra wide angle and telephoto cameras.

It is stated that the battery has a 5450 mAh capacity. The telephoto module of the Honor Magic6 Pro is reportedly equipped with a 1/1.4-inch Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor for incredibly high-resolution 200 MP zoom shots, confirming previous rumors of a substitute for the Vivo X100 Pro+ or Vivo X100 Ultra. However, the main camera and ultra-wide angle (OV50H and OV50M) of the Honor Magic6 Pro remain unchanged. The leaker claims that the battery’s capacity will rise to 5600 mAh.

Honor Magic6 Pro Porsche Design Edition

A 1-inch sensor appears to be exclusive to the Porsche Design’s top model; the leak indicates that this is an additional Omnivision sensor, the OV50K, which is not yet commercially available. The remaining camera specifications 200 MP HP3 and 50 MP OV50M remain the same as those of the Pro model, while the battery capacity, at 5600 mAh, is the same as that of the Magic6 Pro.

The rumored Vivo high-end model may well remain restricted to China, but if the 200 MP telephoto camera is indeed already in the Pro model, this would be an opportunity for consumers outside of China to try out such a combination. The aforementioned specifications are still unknown, of course, but the Honor flagships’ first teases and hands-on photos have already gone viral.
