GIGABYTE Radeon RX 9060 XT
The top computer brand in the world, GIGABYTE, has announced the release of the AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT and Radeon AI PRO R9700 graphics cards. While the Radeon AI PRO R9700 graphics card seeks to provide top-tier performance for AI computing and machine-learning applications, the Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card has improved raytracing capabilities for an incredibly immersive gaming experience.
The renowned WINDFORCE cooling system, which includes a Hawk Fan, server-grade thermal conductive gel, several heat pipes, and Screen Cooling for optimal heat dissipation under demanding workloads, is included with GIGABYTE Radeon RX 9060 XT GAMING OC graphics card. By reducing noise and turbulence, the Hawk Fan may raise air pressure by up to 53.6% and air volume by up to 12.5% without sacrificing acoustics.
In the meantime, the server-grade conductive gel, which is highly deformable and non-fluid, offers the best contact on uneven surfaces and successfully withstands deformation from prolonged use or transportation. The GIGABYTE Radeon RX 9060 XT GAMING OC is the entry point for mainstream gamers with its expanded heatsink, multiple heat pipes, Screen Cooling, and airflow.
Through extensive GPU and memory testing, multi-GPU benchmarking under long-term testing and monitoring, and major LLM models for simulation, the GIGABYTE Radeon AI PRO R9700 AI TOP graphics card has demonstrated its ability to deliver next-level AI computing performance under real-world AI and machine-learning workloads. Users can quickly install AMD ROCm software, a complete open-source stack designed for Generative AI and HPC applications, when paired with GIGABYTE’s AI TOP Utility software.
GIGABYTE uses an innovative inward-indented fan design to direct cool air directly to each heatsink in order to achieve the best cooling efficiency under AI workloads. In the meantime, GIGABYTE uses composite metal grease, a high-end thermal interface substance for this generation of air-cooled cards, on the GPU. Heat is removed from the GPU, VRAM, and supporting circuitry by means of a precision-machined heatsink, server-grade conductive gel, an all-copper vapour chamber, and a sturdy metal structure.
During COMPUTEX 2025, GIGABYTE will display the Radeon RX 9060 XT Gaming OC and Radeon AI PRO R9700 AI TOP graphics cards.

Radeon AI PRO R9700
FEATURES
- Radeon AI PRO R9700 is the power source.
- 32GB of GDDR6 (256-bit) memory is integrated.
- GPU composite metal grease
- Thermal conductive gel of server quality
- An airflow-optimized turbo fan cooling system for multi-card configurations
- All metal frames and copper cooling
- A fan with two ball bearings
- Extensively examined and validated using workloads related to AI and ML
The Radeon AI PRO R9700 is designed to handle complicated creative activities, model fine-tuning, and demanding AI inference. It is designed for professional applications and delivers a combination of excellent performance and efficiency with the use of the Navi 48 GPU and RDNA 4 architecture.
Performance Highlights
According to AMD, the R9700 can perform up to five times as well as NVIDIA RTX 5080 in some AI workloads and up to two times as well as the previous generation Radeon Pro W7800. Because of this, it works especially well when executing sophisticated text-to-image generation models and large language models (LLMs) locally.
AI and Software Ecosystem
The R9700’s second-generation AI accelerators greatly increase throughput, making it ideal for AI applications. It allows developers to take advantage of its capabilities on several platforms by supporting the AMD ROCm software stack on Linux, with Windows support on the horizon.
Design and Availability
For dense workstation settings, AMD provides a dual-slot reference design with a radial fan. Custom models are anticipated from partner manufacturers such as Sapphire, ASUS, and Gigabyte. Pricing information about the Radeon AI PRO R9700 will be revealed when it becomes available in July 2025.
