Special branded GX MSI Edition ahead of CES 2024
A playable live wallpaper game with the company mascot Lucky the Dragon is part of the fully configurable MSI Mod, an immersive co-branded browser experience created by MSI and Opera GX.
The most popular PC gaming hardware company in the world, MSI, has teamed up with Opera GX, the gamer’s browser, to provide enthusiasts of both companies’ goods and services a distinctive browser and interactive content experience.
As stated by Mattijs de Valk, VP of Business Development Gaming at Opera, “Our partnership with MSI has enabled us to once again create a truly engaging branded browser experience for one of the most renowned hardware brands in gaming.” He also stated that the GX MSI browser guarantees that users stay connected with the MSI brand and its products and services in a fun and engaging way while using the best browser for gamers.
The collaboration with Opera GX is simply the start of many forthcoming initiatives. The first is the GX MSI Edition, a unique co-branded variant of the Opera GX gaming browser with interactive backdrops, music, noises, and content that are specifically focused around the MSI. With features like CPU, RAM, and network limiters, hundreds of customization possibilities through GX Mods, and smooth connection with well-known platforms like Discord and Twitch, the GX MSI Edition is brimming with revolutionary capabilities.

“We work together with Opera GX, which is well-known for its superior performance and distinctive custom features in the gaming browser market, to offer players an amazing partnership that offers an unmatched gaming experience and a variety of distinctive options.” the general manager of MSI’s Computing and Display Business Unit, Ted Hung, stated.
Additionally, an animated depiction of MSI’s brand mascot, Lucky the Dragon, in his cave, is included in the GX MSI Edition. Users can assist Lucky in developing from an egg to a fully formed dragon thanks to the feature that turns your browser into an interactive game, which was created using Live Wallpapers. You can play games within the Live Wallpaper by using the Game Strips function, or users can utilize the Live Wallpaper independently. To advance through the stages, users must take care of Lucky. After finishing the Lucky game, users have the option to save the character in their browser or select from a variety of MSI-branded wallpapers.
