Big desk PC gaming gear is my preference. Nice ROG Strix Helios chassis’ big interior. Over-ear headsets are more likely than earbuds. ROG Gladius III’s tall, comfortable curves to the Keris’ lighter, smaller ones. Needed numpads. Only complaint about the 43-inch ROG gaming monitor? Could be bigger.

The Strix SCAR 18 stood out in the 2023 ROG gaming laptop lineup. This cutting-edge laptop’s 18-inch display dwarfs my “desktop replacement” laptops. This fully loaded machine caught my eye with this detail. It captivated me. 

After my first glimpse, the ROG Strix SCAR 18 arrived months later. The hardest part is waiting. This premium gaming laptop is familiar to me after weeks. Its massive 18-inch panel is my favourite laptop feature, but it has many. ROG Strix SCAR 18’s cutting-edge components, ROG Intelligent Cooling, and gaming-loving style set it apart.

Returning to Cyberpunk 2077 to test the ROG Strix SCAR 18 with Phantom Liberty, a massive DLC with a new story, district, and skill tree for my playstyle, is exciting.
