Nvidia RTX Remix Release Date & It adds DLSS 4, NVIDIA RTX

Nvidia RTX Remix Release Date

NVIDIA’s own GTC is poised to highlight AI and all of its advantages, starting with the keynote address by NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang on March 18, 2025, and continuing with more than 1,000 motivational seminars, 300+ displays, technical hands-on training, and a ton of exclusive networking events.

Key developments in RTX AI PCs and workstations will be highlighted as experts from various AI ecosystems offer insights on local AI deployment, model optimization, and utilizing state-of-the-art hardware and software to improve AI workloads. Highlights of the most recent developments for the RTX AI platform will be presented by RTX AI Garage.

With more than 5 billion mods downloaded each year, PC game modifying is extremely popular. With every GPU generation, mods improve graphics, provide new content to games, and draw in new gamers.

Modders can use NVIDIA RTX Remix, a modding platform for RTX AI PCs, to automatically enhance materials using generative AI tools, collect game assets, and produce beautiful RTX remasters with full ray tracing. With the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series neural rendering technology and numerous community-requested enhancements, RTX Remix officially released today after exiting beta.

More than 30,000 modders have experimented with NVIDIA RTX Remix since its initial beta release, giving more than 1 million players access to ray-traced versions of hundreds of classic games.

Numerous AI tools are supported by RTX Remix, such as the community-published AI model PBRFusion 3, NVIDIA DLSS 4, and RTX Neural Radiance Cache.

Modders can employ generative AI to speed up their operations or manually create 4K physically based rendering (PBR) materials. Additionally, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation is supported by RTX Remix mods with a few more clicks. Neural rendering performance is improved by DLSS’s new transformer model and Neural Radiance Cache, the first neural shader, making old games appear and play better than before.

Generative AI Texture Tools

The integrated generative AI texture tools in NVIDIA RTX Remix can up-scale the resolution by up to 4x, create physically correct materials like as normal and roughness maps, and analyze low-quality textures from vintage games. Generative AI has been used in the creation of numerous RTX Remix mods.

A new AI model called PBRFusion 3, which upscales textures and produces high-quality normal, roughness, and height maps for physically-based materials, was released earlier this month by RTX Remix modder NightRaven.

A diffusion-based upscaler and a PBR model are the two specially trained models that make up PBRFusion 3. Additionally, ComfyUI and PBRFusion 3 can be connected in an integrated flow using the RTX Remix application programming interface. To make it simple to get started, NightRaven has packed all the necessary components.

The plug-and-play package that comes with the PBRFusion 3 page contains the pertinent ComfyUI graphs and nodes. Remastering is simple after installation. Choose several textures in the Viewport of RTX Remix, then click Process in ComfyUI. Small hobbyist mod teams can accomplish significant remasters of well-known games because to this integrated flow.

RTX Remix and REST API

Modders may livelink RTX Remix to digital content production tools like Blender, modding tools like Hammer, and generative AI programs like ComfyUI with the REST API features of the RTX Remix Toolkit.

For instance, modders can easily export all of the game textures that were recorded in RTX Remix to ComfyUI and edit them all at once before having them automatically re-appear in the game with REST API connection. With thousands of generative AI models to choose from and RTX acceleration, ComfyUI speeds up the process of remastering game scenes and offers a variety of texture processing options.

Modders can select from a variety of PBR and super resolution models, including ones with height maps and metallic features that allow resolution boosts of 8x or more. Moreover, ComfyUI allows modders to create new texture details with text prompts or make dramatic style shifts by altering the appearance of an entire scene with a single text query.
