This information comes from AGF on X, a leaker who has come forward after going quiet for a while. AGF asserts that the generation-to-generation performance boost will be the largest advancement Nvidia has ever made in consumer GPUs in a recent tweet that RedGamingTech has highlighted on YouTube.

This is allegedly because Blackwell’s original design was intended to compete with the formidable RDNA 4 MCM flagship graphics card. But AMD has since given up on this tactic and is concentrating on mid-range RDNA 4. However, AGF claims that Nvidia will still rely largely on RTX 5000 GPUs.
