MSI Memory Extension Mode
Memory Extension Mode is a fresh new feature that is exclusive to the MSI 700 series of motherboards and only available on those boards. It does this by optimizing the settings that regulate memory access, which in turn increases the speed of the memory itself, and it may even make some games run more smoothly. By giving users the option to choose between three different predetermined modes namely, Performance Mode, Benchmark Mode, and Memtest Mode it gives consumers the ability to quickly zero in on the configuration that best meets their needs while also taking into account the overclocking potential of their RAM. These several settings are grouped together and referred to as the Performance Mode.
Memory Extension Mode, which results in a 12% reduction in overall memory latency
According to the findings of performance tests carried out by AIDA64, using the program’s Performance Mode, Benchmark Mode, or Memtest Mode in conjunction with DDR5-7600 RAM may increase memory bandwidth by 6% (read) to 23% (write), and reduce latency by as much as 12%. These gains can be achieved by using AIDA64’s Performance Mode, Benchmark Mode, or Memtest Mode.
When combined with DDR5-7600 Performance Mode, the Memory Extension Mode performance increase provides an extra 6% improvement to the overall gaming performance of the system.
Memory Extension Mode not only helps enhance memory performance, but it also helps improve overall game performance. Memory Extension Mode may be enabled in the options menu. When compared to playing at a lesser resolution, increasing the game’s display resolution to 1080p with an RTX 4090 graphics card can improve performance by anywhere from 1% to 6% more than playing at a lower resolution. Because of this, the whole game experience will be more enjoyable, and its operation will be more streamlined.
It is crucial, however, to bear in mind that the better memory performance of the RTX 4060 Ti graphics card could not always correspond to increased game performance. This is something that must be kept in mind at all times. Bear this essential fact in mind at all times. Memory Extension Mode is responsible for performance enhancements that are most evident when used in conjunction with higher-end graphics cards such as the RTX 4090 operating at a resolution of 1080p. These performance increases are most noticeable when using Memory Extension Mode.
Remembering things from the past Give It a Try! – Memory Overclocking Made Easy and Convenient
Remembering things from the past By using the Try It! shortcut, memory overclocking may be performed in a more streamlined manner. It offers more than fifty distinct overclocking profiles for the RAM, each of which is determined by the chips themselves. The fact that these profiles come with a range of various frequency and main timing settings makes it easy for customers to choose the configuration that functions best with their memory since it gives them more options to choose from.
Recalling the past Try It! is an application that, to put it in layman’s words, simplifies the process of memory overclocking and makes it possible for you to boost the performance of your memory with only a few clicks of the mouse.
