The Windows 12 operating system is gaining traction in the market. Now, a top official at Intel has dropped a hint that the next operating system would be released in the year 2024. During an interview at the Citi 2023 Global Technology Conference, David Zinser, the chief financial officer of Intel, predicted that the upcoming year will be “particularly exciting,” especially for Windows. He was speaking specifically about Microsoft’s operating system. Zinser did not make any direct references to Windows 12, but his comment gives the impression that development of the new operating system is currently underway.
Zinser’s response constitutes that confirmation, which comes as the first official confirmation that work on Windows 12 is presently being done. At this point, Microsoft has not made any announcements or provided any details on the future operating system.
Exciting Features of Windows 12
Our group anticipates that the next upgrade to Windows 10 will make 2019 a very prosperous year for the client’s company, and for that reason, we are quite optimistic about this prediction. We are still of the opinion that the installed base is fairly old and does, in fact, call for a refresh.
And we feel that the next year may represent the beginning of that process given the catalyst that is offered by Windows. However, we continue to be of the opinion that next year may not mark the beginning of that process. As a direct consequence of this, we have a constructive perspective of the manner in which things will progress beginning in the year 24.
For a lengthy amount of time, people have been speculating about what Windows 12 would be like. An article that was published in March 2023 by the technology newspaper Windows Central stated that the software giant Microsoft was working on a new operating system that would be presented the following year, in 2024. The report was published by Windows Central. If Windows 12 were to be launched exactly when it is expected to be, which is the year 2024, then it would be the first new version of the Windows operating system to be published following Windows 11, which was released in the year 2021.
Details about the Microsoft Windows 12 operating system
Windows 12 is now missing a significant amount of information that is readily available. It would appear, however, that the next version of Windows will also be given the “AI treatment” in order to dramatically improve the user experience, given the approach that Microsoft is already pursuing with many of its programs.
This is because Microsoft is working to incorporate artificial intelligence into as many of its products as it can. There is a possibility that the operating system will take use of the most modern artificial intelligence technology that is present on central processing units manufactured by Intel and AMD. This hardware has the potential to be utilized to enable a wide range of features associated with artificial intelligence, including the following:
- Improved understanding of the words being said
- Additional personalized tips and suggestions
- management of responsibilities that is of a higher caliber
In the field of information technology, there have been reports going around that Windows 12 will have an operating system that is “subscription-based.” However, these claims have been shown to be false for the time being. On the other hand, it’s not out of the question that there may be some “extra” paid features in the future.
A perspective
Taking all of this information into consideration, the launch of Windows 12 and any other information that could be pertinent is still in its infant stages. As a direct consequence of this, reaching a decision about this subject at this juncture is not possible under the circumstances. As a result of the fact that this will undoubtedly reveal Microsoft’s future ambitions for its resources, it will be really interesting to see how the particulars about the new operating system continue to develop.
