GITSTAR, a Chinese manufacturer of GPUs, has introduced a new graphics card called the JH920
It is faster than the GTX 1050 and supports AMD FSR.
GITSTAR, a Chinese company that manufactures GPUs, just released a brand-new graphics card called as the JH920. The company claims that this card is faster than NVIDIA’s GTX 1050 and supports AMD’s FSR.
This new Chinese graphics processing unit is said to be faster than the NVIDIA GTX 1050 while using just 30 watts of power and supporting AMD FSR.
According to the official specifications sheet that was provided by GITSTAR, the JH920 is equipped with 4 gigabytes (GB) of GDDR6 memory that operates via a 64-bit bus interface and provides a bandwidth of 96 gigabytes per second (GB/s). There is no mention of the graphics setup or GPU type, with the exception of the clock speed, which is said to be 1.2 GHz.
It is estimated that the computing power is 1.2 TFLOPs (FP32). Jing Jiawei, a Chinese company that manufactures GPUs, has supplied graphics chips for previous GITSTAR GPUs, thus it is possible that this will again be the case with the JH920.
Mini-ITX design with a single fan in a dual-slot form factor of 173.29 x 126.35 x 41.89 mm is included with the GITSTAR JH920. This design comes standard with the GITSTAR JH920. Due to the fact that the card only uses 30W of power during boot up, there is no need for it to be connected to an external power adapter.
In addition to that, you will get support for the APIs OpenGL 4.0, Vulkan 1.1, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 3.0. There is no indication that DirectX support is present. Additionally, the graphics card supports a maximum of four 4K60 screens and comes equipped with four HDMI 2.0 connectors. It also comes equipped with HEVC (H.265) Encode and H.264 modes.
The Chinese company that manufactures GPUs has made it public that its GITSTAR JH920 graphics card is quicker than the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 and that it will be available at a very reasonable price when it releases later this month. It is noted in the first video that the card is compatible with AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution, sometimes known as FSR. This compatibility is one of the card’s most notable features.
It is reported that the card supports all modes, which results in even greater performance when compared to the native render. In addition to that, the card provides support for a variety of apps that are used for the development of content, such as PS or Photoshop.
However, if the card can actually hit performance numbers that compete with the NVIDIA GTX 1050 and support the latest applications without any issues, that will be a great start for GITSTAR and the Chinese domestic GPU market.
Despite the fact that details on its GPU remain grim, this will be a great start for GITSTAR and the Chinese domestic GPU market, even though we have seen time and time again how Chinese GPU makers promise a lot but fail to deliver even the most fundamental functionalities on their cards.
