Elgato, a subsidiary of CORSAIR, has announced a significant update to its Stream Deck Mobile app, which turns any iPhone or iPad into a handheld productivity interface. The app is now available for free, allowing users to utilize up to six keys, unlimited actions, and hundreds of plugins for popular apps. The introduction of a “freemium” model makes Stream Deck Mobile more accessible to a wider audience.
Additionally, users have the option to upgrade to the Pro version through a subscription or one-time purchase, unlocking advanced features such as custom layouts, backgrounds, and up to 64 keys. The latest update also brings native support for iPadOS, enabling multitasking capabilities and the ability to run two Stream Deck Mobile keypads side-by-side for up to 128 keys (Pro subscription required).
Customization options have been enhanced, including the ability to switch between dark and light mode, control keypad rotation, and access community plugins and profiles on the Elgato Marketplace.
Stream Deck Mobile is now available for download on the Apple App Store for iOS and iPadOS devices. The Pro version can be obtained through a monthly or annual subscription, or a lifetime purchase, with pricing varying by region.
