Samsung Electronics, a global pioneer in visual display, introduced the Odyssey Neo G9 57″ (G95NC model) and Odyssey Ark 55″ (G97NC model) as the latest gaming monitors in its Odyssey line. The Odyssey Neo G9 57″ gaming monitor is currently available for pre-order globally, and will be on exhibit at Gamescom 2023 in Cologne, Germany, from August 23-27.

Odyssey Neo G9 57″ Improves Immersion and Specifications

The Odyssey Neo G9 57″ (G95NC variant) offers innovative visuals for gamers seeking to improve performance and gain a competitive edge. The Odyssey Neo G9 57″, featuring the first Dual Ultra-High-Definition (DUHD) screen and high-speed networking, won the Best of Innovation Award at CES 2023.

The 1000R curvature on the 57″ 32:9 screen provides the same sharp images and wide field of view as two 32″ UHD monitors, engaging users in games like never before.

Samsung’s Quantum Mini LED screen illumination uses Quantum Matrix Technology for smaller, more discrete dimming zones. Sharp contrast and fewer blooming result from enhanced screen contrast.

The Odyssey Neo G9 57” maximises Quantum Mini LED lighting with VESA DisplayHDR 1000. HDR material looks rich and lifelike with 1,000 nit peak brightness, accurate colour and contrast reproduction, and increased colour expression and depth.

Game performance matches visual quality to enable players reach their peak. The 240 hertz (Hz) frame rate and 1ms gray-to-gray (GTG) response time reduce blur and ghosting, allowing players to respond immediately and seal victory while enjoying a smooth and thrilling gaming experience. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro syncs the screen for lag-free video.

VESA-certified DisplayPort (DP) 2.1 connectivity of the Odyssey Neo G9 57” allows for smooth gaming, efficient video playback, and DUHD resolution up to 240Hz.2 The Odyssey Neo G9 57” has DP2.1, HDMI 2.1, and a USB hub, so gamers can connect all their devices and improve their game without mess.

Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes display several inputs at once, and Auto Source Switch+ lets the monitor connect to additional devices without switching input sources. The Odyssey Ark, the first 55-inch 1000R curved gaming screen, has been improved. Based on player input, Samsung has improved the new Odyssey Ark. In addition to spectacular picture quality, form factor, and professional-level gaming performance, new connection, convenience, and performance features will please gamers seeking ultimate enjoyment.

The monitor’s 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms GTG response time give gamers an edge, and Cockpit Mode gives them unique vertical viewpoints.

The Odyssey Ark (G97NC model) now has Samsung Multi View, which displays up to 4 inputs at once.4 It also improves split-screen capabilities, giving players full control and convenience in one screen, even with external devices. A single screen with several inputs keeps workspaces tidy so gamers can focus on the game. The new Multi View displays three HDMI ports and DP1. input concurrently. This new DP input supports 4K UHD streaming for high-quality entertainment.
