The Platform:4 Desk, Developed by CORSAIR, Is Ideal for Small Spaces
CORSAIR is pleased to present the Platform:4, the newest member of their modular desk family. This desk, which is four feet broad (120 cm), is more compact than its predecessor, which was six feet wide, and offers a large work and gaming area. Platform: 6. It still has the same modular design, fine craftsmanship, premium materials, and a plethora of practical features despite its smaller size. Its modular design enables it to be as expansive or as functional as required, and its small size allows it to fit into a variety of work and gaming areas.
The Platform:4 maintains the Platform:6’s upgradeable design, which includes several useful improvements to more conventional desk designs, as well as industry-standard aluminum T-channel rails underneath and above the desk for mounting accessories and peripherals and expansion. An enhanced single monitor arm with a VESA 100 mount that can hold large ultrawide monitors weighing up to 27 pounds is included with the Earth Platform:4.
Since the monitor arm is fixed to the main desk rail system, additional monitor arms and a wide range of suitable attachments, including a webcam mount and microphone, can be added. Additionally, to make device charging easier, it has Type-A and Type-C in-desk USB power connections. With the CORSAIR Rapid Route Wire Management Tray, cables and power bricks can be conveniently stored under the desk.
One of the Platform:4’s main features is its expandability, which includes optional attachments like a top-mounted pegboard system (separately sold) that will soon be available and work with streaming accessories like Elgato Multi-Mount and Key Lights. Additionally, it can accommodate optional side extensions (separately sold) that add pegboards to each side or increase the surface area. The extensions create a perfect location to display a PC by adding 12 inches of surface area on either side. As an alternative, you can attach a pegboard on either side so that you can hang a backpack or headphones.
The Platform:4 comes in two heights: the 30″ fixed-height variant and the dual motor adjustable-height Platform:4 Elevate, which has a height range of 29″ to 48″. The fixed-height version comes with a Birch wood surface and either all-black or white supports.
Three aesthetic variations are available for Elevate: white with a Birch top and light pine stain, black supports with a Birch top and dark walnut stain, or all-black with a laminated top. Platform:4 Elevate is a simple push-button height adjustment feature that allows you to easily transition between sitting and standing heights. It has two memory settings and an LCD readout, and it’s quiet enough that no one will notice if you make changes in the middle of a conference call.
