ASUS Launches Intel Xeon 6700 series Based Servers For HPC

Today, ASUS unveiled its completely redesigned lineup of servers equipped with Intel Xeon 6700 series in Intel Xeon 6 processors, designed to meet the growing need for high-performance computing (HPC) solutions.

Intel Xeon 6700 series

The ASUS RS720Q-E12, RS720-E12, and RS700-E12 server models, embedded with Intel Xeon 6700 series with E-cores, will also support Intel Xeon 6700/6500 series with P-cores in Q1, 2025, to provide seamless integration and optimization for modern data centers and diverse IT environments. One of the new servers is the ASUS RS920Q-E12, a multi-node system that supports HPC workloads using Intel Xeon 6900 series CPUs.

ESC I8-E11: Ready for the latest Intel Gaudi 3 AI accelerator

In response to the increasing need for AI training and inference, ASUS ESC I8-E11 incorporates 24 industry-standard RoCE 200GbE RDMA NICs on each Intel Gaudi 3 accelerator and can handle eight mezzanine cards for the Intel Gaudi 3 AI Accelerator Module (OAM). The 5th generation Intel Xeon processor-powered ESC I8-E11 has a modular architecture that uses fewer cables, speeds up assembly, and enhances thermal optimization. Additionally, it has redundant 3000W 80 PLUS PSUs, which contributes to its excellent power efficiency and ensures a stable power supply for deep learning applications that provides outstanding performance, efficiency, and adaptability.

Intel Xeon 6900

With the newest Intel Xeon 6900 series CPUs and up to 96 DDR5 RDIMM 6400MT/s and MRDIMM Gen1 8800 MT/s per 2U system, the ASUS RS920Q-E12 is built to function at the highest level possible.
