ASRock is pleased to announce the release of its new WRX90 WS EVO & TRX50 WS motherboards, which are designed to be compatible with the recently released AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7000 and AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 WX-Series CPUs. The new motherboards support 4/8 channel memory up to 1TB/2TB DDR5 ECC RDIMM, PCI-Express 5.0 expansion slots, server grade storage expansion such as Slim-SAS & MCIO, and 10Gbps Ethernet, providing the ultimate performance for almost any application such as content creating, video rendering, high-end workstations, and even AI machine learning.
The Highest Level of Performance and Unwavering Consistency
The WRX90 WS EVO and TRX50 WS have been designed with a flagship-class server grade ultra-low loss PCB and an 18+3+3 phase SPS Dr.MOS VRM design to ensure stability for AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7000 and AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 WX-Series processors in all conditions and system loads. This is done to ensure ultimate performance and superb reliability, even when subjected to the most demanding sustained workloads.
A massive metal heat-pipe-style heatsink on every motherboard works in tandem with server-grade cooling fans to provide the maximum amount of heat dissipation possible, especially when the motherboard is overclocked. This is done to guarantee that longevity and the best possible performance are attained.
Superior Performance and Storage Capacity with PCI Express 5.0
The new CPU has a huge amount of PCI Express 5.0 and 4.0 lanes available; the WRX90 and TRX50 have 144 and 88 PCIe useable 5.0/4.0 lanes, respectively. Furthermore, both motherboards include a generous amount of PCIe extension ports, including PCIe 5.0 x 4 ‘Blazing’ M.2 NVMe SSD Sockets and SlimSAS.

It is essential for content makers to be able to quickly transfer huge files, which is why TRX50 WS comes equipped with both Marvell10 GbE LAN and Realtek 2.5 GbE LAN. This configuration guarantees a superfast file-transfer speed to a local server, NAS, or cloud storage. Wi-Fi 6E with 2×2 antenna enhances connection reliability and delivers gigabit-class wireless networking, enabling the ease of high-speed, wire-free communication. Wireless network is also available on both motherboards. Wi-Fi 6E improves connection reliability.
In order to guarantee the highest possible level of reliability and networking performance, the WRX90 WS EVO has been outfitted with a server-grade Intel X710 twin 10GbE solution. In addition to its extensive connectivity, the WRX90 WS EVO motherboard enables remote management using the AST2600 BMC Server Management Processor. This allows system administrators to do out-of-band management and monitoring via the IPMI interface.
